I got the Summer Brighten & Style Service. Here is my honest review.

T’is the season to brighten my blonde. With summer parties quickly followed by low-fi holidays, I headed in-salon to update my shade, kickstart my shine and simplify my at-home Haircare routine.

My Booking:  

“You know that point when your blonde just appears… blah? I was there. With events coming thick and fast over the silly season, I jumped online and booked the Summer Brighten & Style Service in seconds. The process was incredibly simple and even though you can walk into any HAIRHOUSE and book in-person, at this busy time of year I wanted to ensure I got the date and time that worked for me.”    

My Consultation:   

“Once I arrived at my scheduled appointment and sat down with my Salon Stylist Ritika, we commenced by Free Consultation, chatting through my hair goals, including the need to freshen up my blonde, increase gloss and enhance shine. We also talked about my at-home Haircare routine and the reference images I’d brought in to ensure the colour I wanted was achievable.  We also went over at-home care after my colour and ways I could ensure I got the most out of my colour before my next appointment.” 

“Ritika explained that looking after my hair in summer was like looking after my skin, all the products needed to work together to nourish, protect and strengthen my new shade. Then and there I booked my next appointment in 6 weeks to ensure I never got to the point where my colour was dull and lacking again!”  

“I found this Free Consultaion so confidence-building and felt Ritika had really taken the time to familiarise herself with my hair texture and health. Once we had gone through everything, we decided on the Summer Lightening Full Highlights, Toning and Gloss Service and we were good to go!”

My Experience:  

“From the first moment in the Salon chair, I felt at ease with a coffee in hand and Ritika on the case mixing up my colour. My hair was clipped and sectioned with the lightener and foils applied across the entire head which took about an hour. By the time all the foils were applied, some of the colour had processed and were ready to be removed. This was determined gradually as Ritika regularly checked each section to monitor the process.” 

“We then moved to the basin where my hair was shampooed (total bliss!) to remove the lightener. The Toning Gloss was then mixed and applied to my towel dried hair to process, elevating the shine and health of my hair. Ritika then applied a treatment after the gloss, which was left in for ten minutes. This may have been my favourite moment of the service as I received an amazing head massage in the process!” 

“Once back in my Salon chair, Ritika applied a Heat Protectant, and the Styling process began with Ritika sharing tips on new Heat Styling technology that reduces damage (think Titanium and Ceramic Heat Stylers) and then it was time for me to stock up on the essential, Professionally selected products to keep my blonde brilliant at home.”
