What is Olaplex?
Olaplex is a bond multiplier containing Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, a single active ingredient that rebuilds bonds in the hair. When applied to the hair it seeks out single sulfur hydrogen bonds, cross-linking them back together to form disulfide bonds before, during, and after services. Disulfide bonds are broken via chemical, thermal, and mechanical processes making Olaplex an essential tool to fortify hair before and after salon treatments.
